There are two hotels in Oak Park. They are both interesting, classy, and close to the wedding site.
Recommended: The Carelton Hotel is about half a block from the wedding site, next to Poor Phil's bar (where we can have an "after party") and Philander's restaurant. It has a kind of regular "motor lodge" type place where rates for two adults start at $118. For a few bucks more you can stay in the nice, swanky hotel as part of one of our block of reserved rooms.
The other Oak Park choice is The Write Inn. It's about half a mile from the wedding site. It's a 20's era retro Hemingway-themed hotel. Rates start at about $100. There are numerous fine / casual dining places nearby.
Beyond that there are, of course, literally hundreds of chain hotels and such in downtown Chicago (about 10 miles to the east) and Oak Brook (about 10 miles to the west).
